Upon her finish, Ester Ledecka stared at the scoreboard not knowing what to think.
The camera man approached her and said, "You're number 1."
"No...it must be some mistake."
Ester Ledecka took gold medals in both the Alpine skiing super G and parallel giant slalom snowboarding. She is the first person in the winter games to win both skiing and snowboarding, breaking the taboo of not choosing one sport. Ester has taken the winter sports to a new level.
In the record, Ester Ledecka love of both sports and humble nature found favor with the Olympic goddess.
