Avatar World: It's a Pokemon World

Quote: "No. You don't throw a Pokeball at an avatar. Just say, "Hi". Avatar Etiquette for Beginners

"Wouldn't it be great if it was a Pokemon World. You know...you have to catch them all."

I said those exact words to my boys for the last several years. It was the best way to explain the Avatar world in terms that they could understand. I never thought that people would go around with a smart phone and do it.

Avatars are literally everywhere. Go meet them all, though they are humanoid in appearance.

After the Minx was lost in the Evanston neighborhood, I realized the need for smart phone maps...and to do Pokemon Go.
 
What I like best of Pokemon Go is the discovery of the Pokemon inside the human world. The game is a simulation of human finding avatar in the human world.
